West Summerlin offers residents a lifestyle built around outdoor recreation, neighborhood parks, and connected walking and biking paths.
West Summerlin is the newest chapter of the master plan, and its parks show it: the villages here are being built around open space from the start, with parks that opened only in the last few years. The area connects into Summerlin's 200-plus-mile trail system, which links homes with parks, schools and shopping, and that network is planned to keep growing as the west side builds out.
The newest West Summerlin parks are built for activity. Council Park's first phase alone brings three lighted ballfields, six pickleball courts, a full basketball court and a splash pad, while the Hub Park in Kestrel Commons adds a pump track for bikes and scooters. Playgrounds, climbing structures, shaded picnic ramadas and exercise stations are standard across the village parks, and all of it is new.
The Summerlin Trail System includes street-side paths, village trails and regional routes for walking, jogging and biking. It already spans more than 200 miles and is planned to grow beyond 250 as Summerlin West builds out. Village trails follow natural arroyos and landscaped open space, which is why the parks below connect so easily to daily walks.
The 21-acre first phase of Grand Park's planned 90-acre centerpiece, at 1001 Kettle Ridge Drive. Opened in late 2025 with three lighted baseball and softball fields, six lighted pickleball courts, a full-size lighted basketball court, a splash pad, a playground, a climbing structure, shaded picnic areas with grills, exercise stations and restrooms.
A 1.46-acre neighborhood park at 275 Ridge Pine Street in Redpoint Village, opened in January 2023 with a covered playground, a shaded picnic pavilion, adult exercise stations, shaded seating and open lawn.
A landscaped arroyo park at 11891 Red Pointe Drive in Redpoint Village with restrooms, a dedicated parking area and open recreation zones that connect to the surrounding neighborhoods on foot.
A 1.5-acre park at 11511 Fleetwing Avenue in Kestrel Commons, opened in September 2025 with a playground, a climbing play structure, a pump track for bikes and scooters, a bike repair station, shaded seating, open green space and restrooms.
Kestrel Village's parks: 1.4-acre Bluebird Park with a climbing play structure, playground, open green space and shaded seating, plus the Kestrel Creek Arroyo, a 7.5-acre landscaped linear greenway with walking trails and playgrounds threading through the village.
An 8-acre park at 2901 Reverence Parkway in Reverence Village with two lighted tennis courts, a lighted sand volleyball court, a lighted full-size basketball court, large open play areas and mountain views, near the village recreation center and trails.
