Confirm the closing calendar with the escrow office, verify wire instructions by phone (wire fraud is real), book utilities and internet for the handoff date, and plan the moving truck around the closing, not the other way around.
Leave a folder for the new owners with manuals and warranties, and take a final walkthrough checklist to the closing table.

When should I start the checklists?
At least a month before you need to be ready to move, and earlier for the financial pieces like pre-approval. The lists front-load the boring work so the last weeks stay calm.
