CUT, Mott 32 and Bouchon earn reservations; TAO and Yardbird need them for peak hours. Grand Lux and the canal-side cafés are the no-plan backup.
For the family move, Buddy V's and Grand Lux both handle large groups comfortably, which is rarer on the Strip than it should be.
The canal-side detail
The St. Mark's Square area dining feels like sitting in a piazza, gondola traffic included. It is touristy and charming in equal measure, and it is exactly right for a low-pressure meal.
Across in Palazzo, the newer restaurant additions keep raising the resort's food game, so check both towers' lists before you book.
